Data Engineer I
The Data Engineer I at eClinical Solutions will collaborate with clients and the Biometrics team to enhance the elluminate® platform, providing comprehensive solutions for aggregating, transforming, accessing, and reporting clinical data throughout the lifecycle of clinical trials. This role involves configuring various modules, including Data Central, Clinical Data Analytics, Trial Operational Analytics, Risk-Based Quality Management (RBQM), Statistical Computing Environment (SCE), and Operational Insights.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and deploying efficient code to support SDTM, custom reports, and visualizations using tools like MS SQL, elluminate® Mapper, and Qlik. The Data Engineer I will configure ETL processes to aggregate and standardize clinical data from diverse sources, such as EDC systems, SAS, and central laboratory vendors. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with analytics developers and clients to translate business requirements into database objects and visualizations, managing multiple project timelines, and providing diagnostic support to resolve defects.
Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Preferred qualifications include experience with database and data warehouse architecture, design, and development, as well as knowledge of various data platforms and warehouses like SQL Server, DB2, Teradata, AWS, Azure, and Snowflake. An understanding of cloud or hybrid data architecture concepts and familiarity with clinical trial data standards such as CDISC ODM, SDTM, or ADAM is advantageous.
