Data Operations Associate

The Data Operations Associate at PitchBook Data plays a crucial role in delivering high-quality data on private markets to a diverse clientele. This position is integral to the Data Operations team, which is responsible for collecting, validating, and maintaining comprehensive datasets that set PitchBook apart in the industry. In this role, the associate will become proficient in PitchBook's proprietary Research Tool Suite (RTS) and Primary outreach tools. Key responsibilities include conducting email and telephone outreach to industry professionals to gather and verify private market data, managing effective communication campaigns, and processing client requests. The associate will also collaborate with various teams to enhance data accuracy and comprehensiveness.

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree and have at least one year of work experience, including internships. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a self-motivated, goal-oriented attitude. An interest in financial markets, particularly private equity and venture capital, is preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Word, and Excel, is required, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and software is advantageous.
