Data Scientist, AI Deployment

Braze is seeking a Data Scientist for its AI Deployment team, focusing on designing and implementing machine learning solutions that enable personalized customer experiences. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy models that enhance Braze's customer engagement platform.

Key responsibilities include designing machine learning use cases from inception, building and managing end-to-end ML pipelines, and providing technical guidance to ensure successful adoption and measurable outcomes. The role also involves developing features and tools to support the AI deployment team and collaborating with the product team to advance Braze's reinforcement learning algorithms.

Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field, with a preference for a Master's or PhD. A minimum of 3–5 years of experience as a Data Scientist or Machine Learning Engineer working with large-scale data and production environments is required. Proficiency in Python and core ML libraries, as well as SQL, is essential. Experience with DevOps tools and reinforcement learning algorithms is advantageous.
