The Deal Desk Specialist at Unite Us plays a pivotal role within the Sales department, focusing on overseeing and optimizing the sales process. This position ensures that deals are structured and executed efficiently, supporting sales teams and contributing to revenue growth. The role is crucial in maintaining pricing integrity, contract compliance, and smooth deal flow, often involving collaboration with various departments like sales, finance, and legal.

Key responsibilities include serving as a primary advisor to sales on complex and non-standard deal structures, pricing models, and contractual terms. The specialist manages the end-to-end deal process, including creating, reviewing, and approving quotes and contracts. They act as the first line of support for non-standard deal requests, assist sales representatives in navigating approvals and internal processes, and own and resolve deal-related escalations. Additionally, they collaborate to build and maintain Deal Desk playbooks and training materials, validate pricing strategies, ensure contracts align with company policies and legal requirements, and help maintain pricing accuracy. The role also involves leveraging CRM tools to track sales agreements, manage deal progress, and generate reports on sales performance, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of Salesforce data, CPQ workflows, and SKU creation, identifying areas for improvement in operational workflows, and training field sales teams on existing best practices and new implementations.

Candidates should have 1–3 years of experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or Deal Desk. A strong working knowledge of Salesforce, CPQ tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ), and contract management systems is essential. Previous experience in the SaaS, technology, or software industry in an operational or data analyst role is preferred. Analytical abilities, critical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure are also important qualifications.

The position is remote, U.S.-based, with a target salary range of $80,000 to $85,000, depending on the candidate's skills, experience, competencies, and location.
