Deputy Chief Engineer
As a Deputy Chief Engineer at Anduril Industries, you will play a pivotal role in the Air Dominance & Strike team, focusing on the development and sustainment of large air vehicle programs. In this position, you will lead the technical and programmatic execution of air vehicle systems, overseeing design, fabrication, testing, production, and deployment. Your responsibilities include establishing technical visions, assembling and guiding teams of subject matter experts, integrating design changes into active production lines, and ensuring the success of products in the field.
Candidates should possess a deep understanding of unmanned vehicles and robotics, with experience in leadership roles supporting products in production and deployment environments. A strong grasp of vehicle and systems design principles is essential, along with a proven track record of leading teams toward a unified vision. A bachelor's degree in Aerospace, Mechanical, Electrical, or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required. The role also necessitates the ability to travel up to 30% to customer and test sites and eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $166,000 to $220,000 USD, with highly competitive equity grants included in the compensation package.
