Dev Ops Engineer
OneTrust is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. This role involves managing development and production environments, contributing to productizing new software by developing installation, deployment, and maintenance scripts. The DevOps Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and scalability of our cloud-based products.
Key responsibilities include developing and maintaining an understanding of the software development and deployment pipeline, designing and maintaining automation for cloud-based product deployments, supporting application infrastructure for performance optimization, and building supporting infrastructure through an "infrastructure as code" methodology. Additionally, the role involves performing system administration services, identifying scalability and reliability issues, managing incident response protocols, and mentoring other engineers to uphold quality standards.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, with over 3 years of experience as a Software Developer, Systems Engineer, or DevOps Engineer. Required skills include experience with automation/configuration management tools such as Docker, Chef, or Terraform, strong knowledge of distributed systems and web services design, hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, Perl, or Ruby, and experience with SQL and NoSQL databases. Familiarity with source code version control systems like Git and agile development methodologies is also essential.
