As a Digital Media Planner at WPP Media, you will be responsible for planning and executing digital campaigns, developing tailored recommendations for clients based on market and usage developments. This involves managing the implementation of digital measures from planning to finalization, requiring close coordination with channel experts across Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and E-Commerce.

Key responsibilities include analyzing media usage and market trends to derive actionable recommendations for placements, formats, and targeting strategies. You will engage continuously with internal and external stakeholders, including advisors, marketers, channel experts, and campaign management teams. Additionally, you will solicit and evaluate offers, partnerships, and special advertising formats from marketers, ensuring optimal conditions for clients through close collaboration with the investment team. Managing detailed annual forecasts to plan the distribution of digital budgets is also a critical aspect of this role.

The ideal candidate holds a degree or completed training in marketing, media, economics, or a related field. You should possess 1-2 years of experience in digital consulting or planning, whether on the client, agency, or marketer side. Proficiency with common planning tools and a solid understanding of relevant online KPIs are essential. Strong Excel skills, a passion for numbers, and analytical thinking are required. Reliability, independence, flexibility, and teamwork are valued, along with the ability to maintain oversight under pressure. Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken, are necessary.
