Director, Accounting Controllership
Archer is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Director of Accounting Controllership to join our finance team in San Jose, California. This pivotal role focuses on operational excellence across critical financial functions, including stock administration, payroll, accounts payable, revenue operations, and leading global expansion efforts. Reporting to the SVP Finance & Chief Accounting Officer, the Director will ensure our financial processes are efficient and compliant with all regulatory requirements.
Key responsibilities include overseeing payroll processing across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with local laws and tax regulations. The role also involves leading the accounts payable function to maintain strong vendor relationships and timely payments. Additionally, the Director will manage revenue operations, ensuring accurate billing and revenue recognition, and spearhead accounting for international subsidiaries, ensuring adherence to local statutory requirements. Serving as the SOX lead for the controllership function, the Director will work with auditors to maintain an effective controls framework and drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance financial processes.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's or master's degree in accounting or finance, with a CPA certification. A minimum of 12 years of progressive accounting experience is required, with a strong background in managing stock administration, payroll, revenue operations, and accounts payable across multiple jurisdictions. The candidate should demonstrate deep subject matter expertise, the ability to independently resolve complex issues, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in platforms like SAP, Fidelity, and ADP, and advanced Excel skills.

Actual compensation offered will be determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
