The Director of Business Development, Advanced Effects (Army) at Anduril Industries will lead efforts to shape and capture ground and air-launched advanced effects opportunities, primarily with the U.S. Army and international partners. This role is integral to the Air Dominance and Strike Division, focusing on expanding Anduril's presence in defense technology by leveraging innovative solutions to meet military needs.

Key responsibilities include generating and capturing U.S. Army advanced effects opportunities by developing a deep understanding of the customer base, programmatic and technical roadmaps, and the competitive landscape. The director will manage continuous engagements with clients, develop growth strategies, monitor buying cycles, and lead proposal and capture efforts. Additionally, the role involves developing cohesive business plans and execution models that align with investment strategies and drive towards program execution. The director will also translate client problem sets into engineering objectives, identify key milestones, and ensure clear communication within the company. Growing existing business by partnering with execution teams and product engineers to expand current work and explore new opportunities is also a critical aspect of the role.

Candidates must have a minimum of 7 years of experience in creating or supporting new missiles/weapons programs, including requirements definition and acquisition strategies. Prior experience working with U.S. Army program offices and a deep understanding of the Army's customer community, requirements process, and operational needs are essential. Experience with missile systems across surface fires, air-launched effects, and air defense domains is required. Excellent writing and communication skills, with experience presenting to senior executives and customers, are necessary. The ability to travel 50% to 75% and eligibility to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance are also required.

Anduril offers a competitive salary range of $191,000 to $253,000, along with highly competitive equity grants.
