As the Director of Data Insights at EvolutionIQ, you will serve as the pivotal link between our technical expertise and critical business decisions. Your primary mission is to translate complex data signals into compelling business narratives that influence both internal leaders and external partners. This role is integral to our mission of enhancing insurance claims handling through advanced technology, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and efficiency.

In this position, you will act as the "Data Voice" during high-stakes meetings with C-suite executives and external stakeholders, defending findings, negotiating priorities, and providing strategic counsel. You will synthesize outputs from our data science and engineering teams into board-ready presentations that drive multi-million dollar decisions. Additionally, you will champion the transformation of our organizational culture from data-aware to data-driven, challenging existing business assumptions and advocating for evidence-based pivots. Navigating conflicting interests between departments, you will use data as the objective source of truth to build consensus and ensure that the data team's technical roadmap aligns with the highest-value business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience leading high-level discussions with internal and external stakeholders, a deep understanding of data science workflows, analytics engineering, and statistical significance, and exceptional ability to visualize data and craft compelling presentations for executive audiences. A strong grasp of business operations and how data can be leveraged to optimize them is essential. Additionally, the ability to perform quick analytics using modern tools during high-pressure leadership discussions is required.

The base salary for this role ranges from $250,000 to $280,000 annually, with flexibility depending on the candidate's background and experience. The compensation package also includes an annual bonus plan and company equity plan (RSUs). Benefits encompass medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, life insurance, AD&D, and 401(k) matching. Additional perks include paid time off, sick leave, 100% paid parental leave, catered lunches, happy hours, pet-friendly spaces, and a monthly technology stipend. Professional development is supported with a $1,000 annual allowance and opportunities for tuition reimbursement.
