Key responsibilities include architecting and managing the Engineering operating cadence, such as quarterly business reviews, monthly business reviews, strategic planning sessions, and organization-wide communications. The role involves driving fiscal and resource governance by collaborating with Finance and HR on budgeting, headcount planning, workforce strategy, and cloud cost optimization. Additionally, the Director acts as the communication conduit for the CTO, drafting strategic memos and alignment messages for the engineering team.
The position requires 8–10+ years of experience in Engineering Operations, Technical Program Management, Strategy/Business Operations, or Software Engineering leadership within a high-growth SaaS environment. A strong understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, continuous integration/continuous deployment, DevOps, and microservices architecture is essential. Advanced analytical skills with expertise in tools like Excel, Looker, or Tableau are necessary, along with exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
The role offers a competitive salary range of $174,000 to $220,000 per year.
