Director, Foundry Sales Systems and Enablement
The Director of Foundry Sales Systems and Enablement at Samsung Semiconductor is responsible for leading the strategic direction, implementation, and ongoing support of the sales technology infrastructure, with a primary focus on Salesforce. This role is integral to enhancing sales productivity by equipping the sales team with the necessary tools, data, and training to optimize their performance. The position is based at the company's headquarters in San Jose, California, and requires daily onsite presence in accordance with the company's Flexible Work policy.
Key responsibilities include overseeing the administration, configuration, and integration of Salesforce with other essential sales and marketing systems. The director will research, evaluate, and recommend new sales technologies to improve processes and performance. Additionally, they will design and implement automated workflows within Salesforce and other sales tools to streamline activities, ensure data accuracy across all sales systems, develop and maintain robust reporting dashboards, and create and deliver sales enablement programs focused on product knowledge, sales skills, and tool proficiency. Providing ongoing support and training to the sales team and collaborating with the IT department to maintain the stability and security of the sales technology infrastructure are also critical aspects of the role.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business, with 20+ years of relevant experience, or a master's degree with 18+ years of experience. A minimum of 7 years in Sales Operations or a comparable role with a strong technical focus is required. Extensive experience in administering and customizing Salesforce, a proven track record of integrating Salesforce with other sales and marketing tools, and a strong understanding of sales processes and best practices are essential. Excellent communication and training skills are also necessary. Preferred qualifications include Salesforce certifications such as Administrator or Developer, experience with data science tools like Python or R, and experience with on-premise database management and warehousing. Proficiency in the Korean language is considered a plus.
The compensation for this role ranges from $210,000 to $336,000 annually, depending on factors such as the role's function, location, and the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, education, and training.
