Senior Staff Engineer, Design Verification
Samsung Semiconductor's AGI Computing Lab is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer in Design Verification to address the complex challenges of future AI/ML workloads. The team focuses on developing scalable platforms that efficiently manage computational and memory demands while optimizing energy consumption and performance. The successful candidate will develop verification infrastructure and automation environments for build, simulation, regression, and triage processes. Responsibilities include leading verification efforts for AI accelerator IP blocks, creating testbenches, defining verification scopes and test plans, and ensuring the closure of verification quality metrics. Additionally, the role involves providing comprehensive documentation and mentoring junior engineers.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree with 15+ years, a Master's with 13+ years, or a PhD with 10+ years of industry experience. A strong background in SoC or IP verification and test bench development using UVM, System Verilog, C/C++, and scripting languages such as Perl/Python is essential. Experience in verifying complex IP blocks to full system testing, understanding RTL, and strong debugging skills are required. Prior experience with computational logic, interconnect networks, or memory systems is desirable.
The position offers a competitive salary range of $189,000 to $301,000 annually, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
