Director, IT Systems
The Director of IT Systems at Harbinger Motors Inc. will lead the company's information technology strategy, development, and operations. This pivotal role involves ensuring that the IT infrastructure supports Harbinger's rapid growth, manufacturing efficiency, and the complex data requirements of the electric vehicle ecosystem. The position is based in Garden Grove, California.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a scalable IT roadmap aligned with business objectives such as manufacturing scale-up and product launches. The director will serve as the primary technology advisor to the executive team, manage the annual IT budget, and build a high-performing IT team. Additionally, the role encompasses managing the entire IT infrastructure, establishing robust cybersecurity frameworks, and developing comprehensive disaster recovery plans. Collaboration with product and engineering teams to support data pipelines for vehicle telematics and fleet management systems is also essential.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with a master's degree preferred. A minimum of 12 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role, is required. Experience in manufacturing, automotive, or high-growth technology companies is essential, with electric vehicle experience considered a significant plus. Strong knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and exceptional leadership and communication skills are also necessary.
The compensation for this role ranges from $140,000 to $180,000 annually.
