Director, Marketing & Communications
As the Director of Marketing & Communications at Group14 Technologies, you will lead the development and execution of our global narrative, focusing on enhancing brand awareness and strategic positioning within the global energy supply chain. This role involves managing communications across our hubs in the U.S., South Korea, and Germany, navigating the intersection of deep-tech, green energy policy, and industrial scale to drive our growth.
Key responsibilities include refining and protecting the Group14 and SCC55® story across B2B channels, ensuring our messaging defines the silicon battery space globally. You will coordinate messaging across international hubs, position executive leadership as authoritative voices on silicon battery technology and the global energy transition, and work alongside legal and executive teams to communicate our impact on domestic supply chains and national energy security to government stakeholders. Additionally, you will manage external vendors, support communications surrounding government grants and partnerships, provide coaching to executives for high-stakes communications, build a framework for managing reputation risks, and highlight how SCC55® empowers customer innovations in various sectors.
The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in corporate communications or marketing within deep-tech, energy, or advanced manufacturing sectors. A bachelor's degree in Communications, International Relations, or Business is required, with an MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred. Experience in both public and private company environments, managing communications for companies with international manufacturing footprints, and a strong understanding of B2B communications are essential. Specific experience with South Korean or German business culture is a major plus.
The annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,000 to $185,000, complemented by a bonus plan and company stock options.
