As the Vice President of Construction Management at Group14 Technologies, you will spearhead the global expansion of our manufacturing facilities. This pivotal role involves overseeing the end-to-end delivery of our specialized Battery Active Material (BAM) modules, which are modular manufacturing plants designed to produce high-performance silicon-carbon anode materials for lithium-ion batteries. Additionally, you will manage the construction and revitalization of specialty chemical manufacturing facilities for silane gas production. Your leadership will ensure these complex industrial assets are delivered safely, on time, and within budget, aligning with Group14's mission to accelerate the global transition to an electrified future.

Key responsibilities include defining and executing strategies for worldwide facility rollouts, encompassing site selection, logistics, budgeting, and financial management. You will lead the selection, negotiation, and oversight of global Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) firms, serving as the primary point of accountability for external partners' performance. Establishing rigorous project management standards, including cost engineering, scheduling, risk mitigation, and change-order management, will be essential. Acting as a liaison between executive leadership, local government entities, and on-site project teams, you will also oversee the procurement, delivery, and installation of long-lead equipment and materials, navigating the complexities of global supply chains.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical) or Construction Management, with an MBA preferred. A minimum of 15 years of experience in heavy industrial construction sectors such as Oil & Gas, Semiconductors, Chemical, or Gigafactories is required. Proven experience managing large, complex capital projects exceeding $1 billion from greenfield to commissioning, delivered on time and within budget, is essential. Familiarity with international building codes, permitting processes, and diverse labor environments across North America, Europe, and South Korea is crucial. A strong commitment to Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards, along with the ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally, is expected.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $200,000 to $250,000, complemented by a bonus plan and company stock options. Group14 offers comprehensive benefits, including fully paid medical, dental, and vision coverage for employees, with 80% coverage for dependents. Additional benefits encompass an Employee Assistance Program, long-term and short-term disability insurance, life insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, paid time off, floating holidays, and stock options. This role is based in Washington state, with potential locations in Moses Lake, Seattle, or Woodinville.
