Director of Operations, Air Dominance & Strike
The Director of Operations, Air Dominance & Strike at Anduril Industries will lead the operational strategies for the Advanced Effects business line, ensuring alignment with the company's ambitious growth plans. This role involves close collaboration with the General Manager to scale the division into Anduril's largest line of business, focusing on developing next-generation collaborative combat aircraft and advanced autonomous weapons.
Key responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of business operations and infrastructure, ensuring that business development, engineering, and production teams have the necessary resources to execute their tasks effectively. The Director will serve as the chief strategist to balance resource allocation and execution risks, regularly monitoring financials to guide the division toward profitability targets. Additionally, the role involves translating growth signals into demand across operational infrastructures such as staffing, real estate, test ranges, classified infrastructure, and production facilities, collaborating with cross-functional partners to deliver on these needs.
The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of varied experience in an operating role at a high-growth technology company, entrepreneurial venture, or in finance or consulting. They should possess a strong ability to solve complex, ambiguous, cross-functional problems in a people-centric manner, demonstrating high ownership and low ego. Attention to detail, data-driven decision-making, and the ability to operate both strategically and tactically are essential. Eligibility to hold a U.S. Top Secret clearance is required.
Compensation for this role ranges from $220,000 to $292,000 annually, with actual offers varying based on factors such as work experience, education, critical skills, and business considerations.
