May Mobility is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Predictive Simulation to lead the design, development, and evolution of a comprehensive simulated test suite for our autonomous vehicles. This role is integral to our mission of transforming urban mobility through autonomous technology, ensuring our vehicles operate safely and efficiently across various operational design domains.

The Director will oversee the curation and continuous improvement of a large suite of simulated tests, including log-based, synthetic, and hardware-in-the-loop tests. Responsibilities include categorizing tests for rapid interpretation, maximizing test coverage to minimize field surprises, and ensuring the predictive accuracy of test reports. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential to meet critical testing needs and drive iterative improvements in our autonomous driver stack.

Candidates should possess a PhD or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. A minimum of 10 years of experience in autonomous vehicle technology or related fields, with a strong track record of leadership and innovation, is required. Additionally, at least 5 years of experience managing large technical teams (50+ engineers) is essential, along with deep expertise in AV testing, simulation-based verification and validation, and data science.
