Director of Quality
Anduril Industries is seeking a Director of Quality to lead the Quality team within its Production organization. This role is pivotal in ensuring the deployment of reliable products that meet all mission requirements, supporting the production of thousands of high-quality systems annually. The Director will work across the organization to develop strategies, define and execute plans, and implement processes that deliver reliable products.
Key responsibilities include owning all aspects of Quality for the McHenry division, leading supplier and manufacturing quality to improve yields and reliability across the product lifecycle, and maintaining the Quality Management System with a sustainable path to AS9100 certification. The Director will also lead the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) program, establish and implement a Zero Defects program, and partner with other functional teams such as Manufacturing, Engineering, Program Management, Supply Chain, and Deployment Operations to execute success.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field, with over 10 years of relevant experience working with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations building complex hardware and software systems. A minimum of 5 years of experience in an AS9100 regulated environment is required. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within the aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical device fields is essential. The candidate should have a proven record in strategy and execution of Quality Management Systems in a certified AS9100 enterprise and working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Change Management, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
The salary range for this role is $147,000 to $195,000 USD annually. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers and are considered part of Anduril's total compensation package.
