Director of Quality

The Director of Quality will own all aspects of quality for the Atlanta division, supporting the production of thousands of high-quality products annually. Key responsibilities include leading supplier and manufacturing quality initiatives to improve yields and reliability across the product lifecycle, maintaining the Quality Management System with a sustainable path to AS9100 certification, and managing the Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) program. The role also involves establishing and implementing a Zero Defects program and improving key performance indicators (KPIs) for quality across the manufacturing organization.
Candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a similar technical field, with a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience working with OEM suppliers and manufacturing operations building complex hardware and software systems. At least 5 years of experience in an AS9100 regulated environment is required. Experience in engineering, manufacturing, or quality within the aerospace/defense, automotive, or medical device fields is essential. A proven record in strategy and execution of Quality Management Systems in a certified AS9100 enterprise is necessary, along with working knowledge of product development methodologies such as Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Change Management, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP).
