Director of Solutions Architecture
The Director of Solutions Architecture at Diligent Corporation is a pivotal commercial leadership role focused on driving new and expansion Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR). This position involves deploying the right Solutions Architecture (SA) talent on strategic deals, eliminating architectural friction from the sales cycle, and ensuring the SA team serves as a competitive advantage rather than a procedural bottleneck. The Director is responsible for managing a global team across the Americas, EMEA, and Asia-Pacific, aligning SA capacity with pipeline strategy, and partnering closely with Sales leadership to optimize commercial outcomes.
Key responsibilities include partnering with Sales leadership to align SA capacity with pipeline strategy, making coverage decisions that maximize ARR impact, and ensuring the SA function accelerates the sales cycle on complex deals. The Director owns new and expansion ARR as a team outcome, sets deployment models, deal prioritization, and engagement standards that make SA a competitive differentiator. Additionally, the role involves hiring, onboarding, performance management, and organizational design across the global SA team, as well as holding direct accountability for Gross Dollar Retention on large enterprise accounts.
The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in enterprise SaaS pre-sales or solutions architecture, with at least 3 years managing a team of senior technical professionals across multiple geographies. Demonstrated accountability for Gross Dollar Retention or customer retention outcomes is essential, along with a proven track record of building and developing high-performing technical teams globally. Strong commercial acumen, strategic thinking, and the ability to drive operational changes that lead to measurable commercial results are critical for success in this role.
