Director of Strategic Accounts, Eastern U.S.
As a Director of Strategic Accounts at Motive, you will be responsible for developing and closing business with the company's largest prospects, primarily Fortune 500 companies in North America's physical economy. This role involves leading sales efforts, highlighting the value of Motive's products, and achieving business outcomes through strategic partnerships. The position is remote, covering accounts in the Eastern U.S., and candidates residing on the East Coast are preferred.
Key responsibilities include prospecting and securing new strategic business by cultivating relationships with C-suite and executive-level contacts within key prospects. You will develop internal champions to ensure success in RFP processes and expand contractual business. Collaborating with internal account teams, leveraging customer analytics, and utilizing available resources to optimize buying decisions are essential aspects of the role. Additionally, you will work with technical resources to demonstrate the value of integrations and the partner ecosystem, effectively plan to meet and exceed business goals and revenue quotas, and continuously study market trends to provide consultative insights.
The ideal candidate possesses deep enterprise sales experience, particularly with Fortune 500 or 1000 clients, and has a minimum of 7 years in SaaS or relevant enterprise field sales. A strong track record of exceeding quotas and rapidly growing a client portfolio is essential. The ability to build rapport with executive decision-makers, influence outcomes through a deep understanding of the customer's business, and deliver unique solutions is crucial. Independent work with a data-driven mindset for setting and achieving short, medium, and long-term sales goals is required, along with exceptional communication skills to convey key value propositions and manage objections effectively.
Compensation for this role includes on-target earnings ranging from $320,000 to $350,000 annually, comprising base pay and commissions.
