Director, Paid Search
As a Director of Paid Search at WPP Media, you will lead and deliver paid search campaigns, serving as the primary client contact. This role involves managing teams, driving operational excellence, and exceeding client expectations. A strategic understanding of clients' businesses and key performance indicators (KPIs) is essential, along with a forward-thinking approach to paid search activities.
Key responsibilities include overseeing paid search campaign outputs and team performance, maintaining a strategic understanding of clients' businesses and KPIs, and developing innovative paid search strategies and tactics. You will build strong relationships with clients and key suppliers, communicate effectively on various subjects, and provide valuable insights to clients and stakeholders. Additionally, you will recruit and interview new team members, lead team development and career progression, and monitor workloads to ensure deadlines are met. Driving process automation through the adoption of scripts and efficient workflows, leading adherence to paid search activation finance processes, and contributing to strategic revenue and service opportunities are also part of the role.
The position requires a minimum of six years of digital marketing experience, with expert knowledge in search campaign setup, management, optimization, and reporting. Current certifications in Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Search Ads 360 are necessary. Excellent understanding of paid search and digital marketing strategies, proven project management, leadership, stakeholder, and people management experience are essential. Experience with additional digital marketing channels, such as social media and display advertising, is advantageous.
