The Director of Performance Marketing and Media at PitchBook Data is a senior leadership role within the Marketing organization, responsible for overseeing the company's paid media strategy and investments. This position plays a pivotal role in driving customer acquisition, retention, and revenue growth by managing multi-channel campaigns across SEM, paid social, programmatic/display, content syndication, digital ABM, and emerging channels. The Director will lead a high-performing team and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners to execute integrated, audience-led programs that connect brand awareness to pipeline and revenue.

Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a comprehensive paid media strategy aligned with acquisition, retention, and account growth objectives. The Director will set the operating model for performance marketing, encompassing annual and quarterly planning, budget management, performance reviews, and executive reporting. Leading a team of managers, individual contributors, and agency partners, the role fosters a culture of accountability, experimentation, and continuous improvement. Additionally, the Director will drive pipeline and revenue impact through rigorous measurement and optimization, partnering with Revenue Operations and Marketing Analytics on attribution and related frameworks.

The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Operations, or a related field, along with over 12 years of experience in performance or digital media, including at least 7 years in team leadership roles. A proven track record in B2B SaaS environments is preferred. Deep expertise in SEM, paid social, programmatic/DSPs, and content syndication is essential, as is fluency in marketing and CRM platforms such as GA4, Marketo, and Salesforce. Strong business acumen, familiarity with business intelligence tools, and demonstrated budget ownership with disciplined forecasting and reallocation to targets are also required.

Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary ranging from $160,000 to $225,000, with a target annual bonus percentage of 20%.
