Director, Product Management – Platform

RapidRatings is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead the development and enhancement of our platform capabilities. This role is pivotal in shaping the foundational layer that supports all RapidRatings' offerings, ensuring scalability, reliability, and efficiency. The Director will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive the platform's strategic direction and execution.

Key responsibilities include owning the platform strategy and roadmap, balancing immediate delivery needs with long-term architectural goals. The Director will oversee core platform components such as the data layer, API ecosystem, authentication, and permissions systems. Additionally, the role involves driving operational excellence by improving platform efficiency, automating processes, and enhancing user experience for both internal and external stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years focused on platform or developer-facing roles within B2B SaaS environments. Proven leadership skills are essential, as this is a management position requiring hands-on involvement. A strong understanding of platform fundamentals, including APIs, data architecture, and integration patterns, is required. Experience with AI tools and building AI-powered products is highly desirable. The candidate should be comfortable navigating ambiguity, possess excellent communication skills, and have a background in enterprise B2B settings, particularly with data-intensive platforms.
