The Director of Talent Acquisition at Flamingo will lead the company's efforts to attract and hire exceptional talent. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role involves managing a team that includes recruiting operations, coordinators, and both in-house and third-party recruiters. The Director will be responsible for developing strategies and programs to scale the team with top-tier talent, fostering a high-performing and inclusive organization. Utilizing data to understand the employee experience, the Director will support initiatives that create an environment where talent can thrive. Additionally, the role includes building strong pipelines to access diverse talent pools and creating a talent engine that drives the company's success.

Key responsibilities include defining the Talent Acquisition strategy for Flamingo, encompassing recruitment, employer marketing, hiring, and onboarding approximately 120+ high-performing individuals annually. The Director will build systems and processes to ensure recruiting is consistent, repeatable, data-driven, inclusive, and efficient. This involves identifying, integrating, and enhancing tools that drive efficiency, improve accuracy, create transparency, and support excellent candidate experiences. Ensuring that candidate onboarding aligns with their hiring experience is also crucial, achieved by partnering with Hiring Managers and People Business Partners to successfully integrate new talent into the company.

The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, including time in high-growth environments where they have identified and recruited top talent while working closely with leadership teams. Demonstrated expertise in hiring and developing great talent and coaching individuals to realize their potential is essential. Experience in managing, designing, and leading critical processes, as well as familiarity with managing internal and external stakeholders, is required. The candidate should be a strong operator who can balance short-term needs with long-term strategy, a skilled program builder who has designed and implemented initiatives that improved results, and a data-driven decision-maker who uses metrics to track progress and optimize processes. A passion for candidate experience, inclusion, and building diverse teams is also important.
