Senior Manager, Trade Fund Management
The Senior Manager of Trade Fund Management at Flamingo will lead the establishment of the trade fund management function within Mammoth Brands. This pivotal role involves overseeing the company's retail trade investment strategy, a key driver of profitable growth. The position requires close collaboration with Sales, Finance, Growth, and Supply Chain teams to translate analytics into actionable insights, optimize trade return on investment (ROI), and shape the company's long-term revenue and margin trajectory.
Key responsibilities include defining the trade fund strategy to align with revenue growth, margin, and brand objectives, and serving as the enterprise owner of trade spend governance, policies, and controls. The role involves tracking trade spend across all retail channels, identifying optimization opportunities, and ensuring accurate reflection of trade spend in profit and loss statements, forecasting, and reporting. Additionally, the Senior Manager will develop innovative approaches to leverage trade spend, scenario plan long-term revenue mix based on market trends, and lead the management of the Trade Promotion Management system.
The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), with deep exposure to trade spend, trade promotion management, analytics, insights, or sales finance. Proven experience managing large trade budgets across multiple retail customers, a strong understanding of retailer dynamics, promotional mechanics, and customer profit and loss statements are essential. Demonstrated leadership experience influencing senior Sales and Finance stakeholders, advanced analytical skills, and experience owning or leading Trade Promotion Management systems and processes are also required.
