Director, Technical Revenue Accounting

CoreWeave is seeking a Director of Technical Revenue Accounting to lead its Technical Revenue team within the Commercial Accounting function. This role involves reviewing complex sales contracts, evaluating new product and service offerings, and ensuring accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606. The Director will collaborate with various departments, including Revenue Operations, FP&A, and Product Management, to optimize financial outcomes during contract negotiations.

Key responsibilities include providing technical accounting expertise, updating accounting policies, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and overseeing the evaluation of new sales offerings and go-to-market strategies. The Director will also manage the Technical Revenue team, propose process improvements across the Order to Cash cycle, and work with external auditors to address and resolve audit issues promptly.

The ideal candidate will have over seven years of experience in revenue accounting at high-growth tech companies, including at least four years in public companies and two years in Big 4 audit firms. Strong knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with ASC 842 are required. The candidate should possess excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong written and oral communication abilities.

The base salary for this role ranges from $165,000 to $242,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. The total rewards package includes a discretionary bonus, equity awards, and a comprehensive benefits program.
