Director, Technology Business Operations

The Director of Technology Business Operations at PitchBook Data will serve as a strategic partner to the Executive Vice President of Technology & Engineering, overseeing a global technology organization of over 500 employees. This role is pivotal in translating strategic objectives into actionable plans, ensuring alignment across Product Engineering, Data Collection Technology, AI/ML, Enterprise Technology, and Technology Operations to meet company priorities effectively.

Key responsibilities include leading annual and quarterly planning processes, managing the technical review cadence, and driving cross-functional alignment. The director will oversee the technical Request for Comments (RFC) process, partner with platform and security leaders to align on cloud strategies and data platforms, and champion engineering health metrics to inform resource allocation and priority setting.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, along with over 12 years of experience in technology roles, including senior positions within large tech organizations. Essential skills include evaluating technical designs, managing large cross-functional programs, and strong communication abilities. Familiarity with cloud platforms, data platforms like Snowflake, and observability practices is also required.
