EMC Test Engineer
Archer is seeking an EMC Test Engineer to join our Electrical Engineering team in San Jose, California. As a leader in electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft, Archer is dedicated to advancing sustainable air mobility solutions. The EMC Test Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring our aircraft's electromagnetic compatibility, contributing to the safety and reliability of our innovative aviation technologies.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing EMC tests for various aircraft systems and components. Your day-to-day activities will include developing test plans, setting up and conducting tests in compliance with industry standards, and documenting results. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential to address and resolve any EMC-related issues that arise during the development and testing phases.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, along with a minimum of 3 years of experience in EMC testing within the aerospace or automotive industries. Proficiency in EMC test equipment and methodologies, as well as a strong understanding of relevant standards and regulations, is required. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for success in this position.
