As an Engineering Manager for Machine Learning Operations at PitchBook, you will lead the MLOps team within the Technology & Engineering division. This team is dedicated to providing tools and best practices that enhance the Machine Learning Development Life Cycle (MLDLC), supporting projects in areas such as Generative AI, Large Language Models, Natural Language Processing, Classification, and Regression. Your leadership will be pivotal in advancing AI innovations across the organization.

In this role, you will oversee the direction and execution of the MLOps team, collaborating closely with engineering leadership and product management to develop roadmaps, define key performance indicators, and achieve success criteria. Responsibilities include ensuring effective communication across geographically dispersed teams, enabling scalable solutions that meet high standards of reliability and efficiency, and championing the adoption of machine learning best practices to foster a culture of innovation and experimentation.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field, along with at least 3 years of experience in an engineering leadership role managing globally distributed teams. Additionally, a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience in developing and deploying machine learning algorithms and services is required. Proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP, containerization technologies like Kubernetes and Docker, and programming languages including Python is essential. Strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset are also critical for success in this position.

Compensation for this role includes an annual base salary ranging from $240,000 to $300,000, with a target annual bonus percentage of 15%.
