Engineering Manager - Orchestration and Automation
As an Engineering Manager at Celonis, you will lead a team of up to 6 engineers within the Orchestration & Automation division. This role involves overseeing the development of resilient, reliable, and scalable systems that enhance the company's process intelligence capabilities. Your primary responsibilities will include managing and mentoring engineers, guiding their professional growth, and ensuring the delivery of robust solutions across the entire technology stack. You will collaborate extensively with leadership, cross-functional stakeholders, and fellow engineering teams to develop and implement impactful product functionalities. Additionally, you will partner with Product, Platform, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Quality Engineering (QE) teams to deliver end-to-end solutions with the highest levels of availability and reliability.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering management or technical leadership role, with advanced technical expertise equivalent to a staff engineer level in software engineering. Proficiency with technologies such as Java Spring Boot, Angular, Microfrontend architecture, Postgres, and microservices architecture is essential. Strong English communication skills are required for effective collaboration with global teams, along with familiarity with agile methodologies and the ability to resolve technical conflicts constructively.
