Engineering Program Manager, Cloud & Products
The Engineering Program Manager, Cloud & Products at Skylo Technologies will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of cloud infrastructure and software release projects. This role involves coordinating multiple engineering teams, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and proactively addressing potential challenges. The position is based in Bangalore, India, with an on-site requirement of three days per week.
Key responsibilities include creating and managing comprehensive project plans, roadmaps, and timelines, defining scope, dependencies, and resource assignments with cross-functional teams. The role serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders regarding project status, risks, and deliverables, ensuring effective communication and alignment across all teams. Additionally, the position involves driving non-engineering tasks such as hosting meetings, addressing queries from product management, sales, and vendors, and removing blockers for the engineering teams.
The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline, and 4-7 years of experience in project and program management, with a focus on cloud, SaaS, and/or software release management. A deep understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and experience with cloud-native applications is essential. Proficiency in waterfall, scrum, and agile methodologies, as well as experience with program management tools such as JIRA, is required. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to work with external stakeholders and be comfortable in fast-paced, dynamic environments, adapting quickly to changing priorities.
