Technical Recruiter (Contract)
Skylo Technologies is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our Mountain View, CA office on a 6-month contract basis, with an on-site presence required three days per week. This role offers the opportunity to be a strategic partner in building high-impact engineering teams that are pivotal to our mission of extending reliable connectivity to people, vehicles, and devices in remote and hard-to-reach locations.
The Technical Recruiter will manage the full recruitment lifecycle, focusing on scaling our engineering teams across software, hardware, and satellite domains. Key responsibilities include developing and executing hiring strategies aligned with technical roadmaps, identifying and engaging top-tier technical talent, and providing data-driven insights to enhance hiring decisions. The role also involves collaborating closely with internal stakeholders to ensure a seamless and efficient recruitment process.
Candidates should have experience managing the complete recruitment lifecycle within high-growth technical environments. Essential qualifications include the ability to partner effectively with engineering managers to define role requirements, a proven track record of delivering high-quality hires while meeting key performance indicators, and proficiency in utilizing AI tools and applicant tracking systems such as Ashby, Metaview, and Claude. Strong skills in identifying niche technical talent across software, hardware, and satellite communications domains are also required.
The compensation range for this position is $120,000 to $135,000 annually.
