The Engineering Technician at Peak Energy plays a crucial role in supporting the development and maintenance of our energy storage systems. This position is integral to our engineering team, contributing to the advancement of our sodium-ion battery technology. Key responsibilities include performing routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on facility systems such as HVAC, electrical, compressed air, lighting, and plumbing. The technician will also support the installation, relocation, and calibration of manufacturing equipment related to battery assembly. Additionally, the role involves assisting with environmental, health, and safety compliance, monitoring building infrastructure, coordinating with third-party vendors, and maintaining organized facilities supplies.

Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in facilities, maintenance, or technician roles, preferably in startup or manufacturing environments. A working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and building systems is essential. Proficiency in using tools, ladders, lifts, and equipment safely, along with familiarity in basic electrical and plumbing troubleshooting, is required. Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills are also important.

The compensation for this role ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, with actual pay varying based on work location, education, experience, and skills.
