Enrollment Systems Lead
The Enrollment Systems Lead at BetterHelp is responsible for overseeing and executing payer enrollment activities for providers within the company's national behavioral health network. This role serves as a subject-matter expert in payer enrollment requirements and reporting, providing day-to-day execution, quality oversight, and workflow coordination for enrollment specialists or contractors. The Lead collaborates closely with internal stakeholders and external payer representatives to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant provider enrollment.
Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end payer enrollment and revalidation activities for behavioral health providers across commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid plans. The role ensures accurate and timely submission of initial enrollments, re-credentialing, and demographic updates, monitors enrollment timelines, identifies risks or delays, and implements corrective actions to meet operational service level agreements. Additionally, the Lead serves as an escalation point for complex or stalled enrollment cases.
The position requires a minimum of 3 years of experience in provider credentialing and payer enrollment, preferably in behavioral health or healthcare services. Candidates should demonstrate expertise in commercial, Medicare, and Medicaid enrollment processes, have experience leading or mentoring team members in an operational setting, and possess strong knowledge of CAQH, NPI, PECOS, and payer enrollment portals. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.
