The Enterprise Account Executive at MariaDB is responsible for driving sales growth by engaging with both existing and new customers across various segments. This role involves managing the full sales cycle, from initial contact through to the adoption of MariaDB services, ensuring that clients receive solutions tailored to their needs. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in expanding MariaDB's presence in the market, contributing to the company's mission of powering applications used daily by billions of people.

Key responsibilities include developing and executing strategic sales plans aligned with MariaDB's objectives, maintaining an accurate and robust pipeline of business opportunities, and effectively managing the sales pipeline by engaging with prospects, partners, and key customers. The role also requires preparing and delivering business reviews to senior management, understanding the technical requirements specific to each prospect or customer, and traveling up to 20% to various company and customer locations.

Candidates should possess a minimum of 7 years' experience in database, data management, DBaaS, or cloud sales, with a proven ability to manage large enterprise opportunities and close transactional business. A background in selling enterprise cloud database solutions and open-source software is preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills, proactive and optimistic spirit, and the ability to effectively communicate the business value of complex enterprise solutions are essential. Experience with prospecting and opportunity development using tools such as Salesloft, Zoom, Marketo, and Zoominfo is also required.

The anticipated U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $110,000 to $150,000, plus commissions. Additional benefits include health insurance, life and disability insurance, funds toward professional development resources, Flexible Paid Time Off (FPTO), paid holidays, and parental leave. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as qualifications, geographic location, skills, experience, and competencies.
