The Enterprise Seller Onboarding (ESO) Technical Project Manager at Block is responsible for leading the technical onboarding and activation of new enterprise and strategic merchants. This role ensures a seamless, scalable, and high-quality onboarding experience, partnering directly with Square’s largest and most complex sellers to help them fully realize the value of Square’s products and services.

Key responsibilities include engaging with sellers during the pre-sale phase to support discovery, scoping, planning, and solution validation. The ESO Technical Project Manager advises on and documents Square’s first-party product capabilities, manages multiple complex onboarding projects concurrently, and collaborates effectively with technical partners to communicate requirements to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves evaluating third-party partner integrations for compatibility with Square's platform and proactively identifying and managing risks throughout the onboarding lifecycle.

The ideal candidate possesses a strong technical background with the ability to discuss API/SDK product capabilities and evaluate third-party integrations. They should have experience in project management, particularly in technical onboarding or implementation roles, and demonstrate excellent communication skills to build strong cross-functional partnerships with Sales, Account Management, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success teams.
