Anduril Industries is seeking an Environmental Test Technician to join their Development team in Costa Mesa, California. This team is responsible for conducting environmental testing across all of Anduril's platforms, ensuring that products meet rigorous standards for performance and durability. The company focuses on transforming military capabilities through advanced technology, integrating cutting-edge autonomy, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology into defense systems.

In this role, the Environmental Test Technician will execute a variety of environmental tests, including thermal, dynamic, corrosion, and ingress tests. Responsibilities include programming test controllers such as WATLOW F4s, operating electrodynamic shaker table control software, and setting up data acquisition systems. The technician will also maintain lab spaces to a high standard of organization and professionalism, promote lab safety training and processes, and ensure proper maintenance of capital equipment. Additionally, the role involves advancing environmental testing training materials, keeping technical documentation updated, and traveling to test sites and remote labs as needed.

Candidates should have at least 5 years of professional experience in an engineering technician capacity or similar role. Familiarity with Jira or other agile development software and experience with running environmental test equipment are required. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding, and flexible team environment is essential. Eligibility to obtain or maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is also necessary.

Preferred qualifications include familiarity with NI Data acquisition system setup and collection, as well as experience running LabVIEW and Flexlogger software. Knowledge of VR software, including VibrationVIEW and ObserVIEW for executing and processing dynamic tests, is advantageous. A demonstrated sense of drive and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams are also desirable.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $46 to $60, with actual compensation varying based on factors such as work experience, education, and critical skills. Highly competitive equity grants are included in the majority of full-time offers.
