Executive Reporting
WPP Media is seeking a data-driven professional to support executive-level reporting by combining strong Business Intelligence (BI) capabilities with data engineering expertise. This role will play a key part in transforming raw data into meaningful insights, enabling leadership to make informed, strategic decisions.
Key responsibilities include designing, building, and maintaining executive dashboards and reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis. The role involves translating business and leadership requirements into data models and reporting solutions, developing and managing data pipelines to ensure reliable, accurate, and timely data flow, and integrating data from multiple sources, including internal systems and third-party platforms. Ensuring data quality, consistency, and governance across reporting outputs is essential, as is providing actionable insights and recommendations to support business strategy. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Finance, HR, Operations, and Commercial is also a key aspect of the role, along with automating reporting processes to improve efficiency and scalability.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering roles, with strong proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker. Solid SQL skills and experience working with large datasets are required, along with experience with data pipeline tools and programming languages like Python and ETL tools. An understanding of data warehousing concepts and data modeling is important, as are strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. The ability to communicate insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders, including executives, is crucial, along with high attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership.
