The Field Support Specialist at SPS-North America is a pivotal role designed to ensure seamless operational support across multiple client locations within the assigned region. This position requires flexibility and adaptability, as the specialist will provide coverage during both scheduled and unscheduled staff absences, often with short notice. The primary objective is to maintain uninterrupted service delivery, upholding the company's commitment to excellence and client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities encompass a broad range of office services, including managing inbound and outbound mail and packages, overseeing shipping and receiving processes, and performing copy and print production tasks. The specialist will also be responsible for maintaining office equipment, setting up and breaking down conference rooms, and ensuring that common areas such as pantries and kitchens are well-stocked and organized. Additionally, the role involves providing reception or concierge coverage, welcoming guests, managing visitor registration, and coordinating with building security to maintain a secure and professional environment.

Candidates should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, excellent customer service abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. The ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, good organizational skills, and a working knowledge of multi-functional device equipment are essential. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a preference for candidates having at least two years of prior work experience in office services, facilities management, mail operations, shipping and receiving, or hospitality. The role also demands physical capabilities such as the ability to lift up to 25 lbs. independently and 50 lbs. with assistance, as well as the capacity to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and sit for extended periods.
