Field Support Specialist
The Field Support Specialist at SPS-North America plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless office operations across various client sites. This position involves providing comprehensive support in areas such as reception, mail handling, facilities management, and copy/print services. As a key member of the team, the specialist contributes to maintaining high service standards and operational efficiency.
Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional customer service to employees and visitors, managing incoming and outgoing calls, and greeting guests professionally. The role also encompasses receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and packages, overseeing shipping and receiving tasks, and assisting with office supplies, facilities requests, and basic troubleshooting. Additionally, the specialist supports copy/print services and office equipment maintenance, aids in office moves, and sets up meeting rooms as needed.
Candidates should possess strong communication and customer service skills, along with good organizational and multitasking abilities. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with at least six months of work experience preferred. Proficiency in MS Office and office equipment, the ability to work independently, and flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and locations are essential. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 25 lbs individually and up to 50 lbs with assistance, as well as the capacity to walk, bend, kneel, stand, and sit for extended periods.
