Finance Systems Analyst I
Rocket Lab Corporation is seeking a Finance Systems Analyst I to join their IT team at the Long Beach, CA headquarters. This role involves collaborating with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, and Enterprise Information Systems teams to maintain and optimize business systems that drive operational efficiency and scalable growth. The ideal candidate will have a foundational understanding of accounting and finance processes, technical systems, and data analysis, with a strong desire to bridge business needs with system capabilities.
Key responsibilities include providing technical and functional support for financial systems, such as Infor LN ERP, OneStream, and Adaptive Insights. The analyst will assist in troubleshooting, system enhancements, and user training. Collaborating with finance teams, the role ensures systems meet business needs and processes, supports the general ledger accounting structure, and aids in accurate financial reporting. Additional duties involve streamlining workflows, improving data accuracy, enhancing reporting capabilities, and participating in system upgrades and integrations under senior team guidance.
Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (4+ years), a basic understanding of ERP systems, familiarity with general ledger accounting structures, financial statements, and FP&A processes. Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is required. Preferred qualifications include 2+ years of experience in financial systems support, implementation, or development, experience with LN ERP, OneStream, or Adaptive Insights, strong communication and analytical skills, exposure to financial system integrations or upgrades, familiarity with Jira or similar project management tools, and basic knowledge of SQL or T-SQL.
Rocket Lab offers a competitive base salary ranging from $72,000 to $90,000, determined based on job-related knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
