Finance Systems Business Analyst (m/f/d)
The Finance Systems Business Analyst serves as the critical link between Awin's finance business and the Group Finance Systems team. This role is pivotal in capturing, translating, and managing requirements from finance stakeholders to ensure that technology solutions in D365 F&O and connected platforms accurately reflect business needs. A significant focus is the Billing Experience 2.0 initiative, a strategic program aimed at modernizing internal and external payment processes across the group.
Key responsibilities include representing the Group Finance Systems team within the Payment Experience 2.0 cross-functional program, leading requirements gathering for all related workstreams, and ensuring coherent end-to-end process design. The analyst will own the test strategy for the program, coordinate user acceptance testing with finance business users, and manage sign-off. Additionally, the role involves eliciting, documenting, and managing functional requirements from finance stakeholders across various domains, acting as the primary liaison between the finance business and the Group Finance Systems team, and maintaining a prioritized backlog of change requests.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Business Analyst on ERP implementations or functional consulting, with a strong understanding of core finance processes such as general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, financial reporting, and budgeting. Experience in payment processes, including AP/AR automation, payment runs, bank integration, or customer payment journeys, is highly advantageous. Hands-on experience with D365 Finance & Operations or a comparable ERP platform is essential, along with strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional program teams.
