The Finance Systems Commercial Delivery Lead at Harbor is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the delivery-side sales activities within the Finance Systems service line. This position collaborates closely with the Go-To-Market team, subject matter experts, and Marketing to enhance brand awareness and promote service offerings in the legal industry. The role involves creating pitch materials, drafting Statements of Work (SOWs), and developing budget proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational standards. Additionally, the individual will work with business line leaders to identify and bring strategically aligned opportunities to market.

Key responsibilities include managing delivery-side sales for the Finance Systems service line, drafting and reviewing SOWs and budget buildups, and creating and enhancing pitch materials and standardized templates. The role also involves maintaining accurate records of activities and opportunities in Salesforce, scoping service delivery requirements, assessing pricing accuracy, and recommending improvements to scoping and pricing processes. Engaging in client interactions, industry forums, events, and marketing campaigns to champion the service line is also a critical aspect of the role. Additionally, the individual will educate Go-To-Market and delivery teams on solution updates and participate in the sales forecasting process. Managing the transition from sales to delivery through effective handover meetings is also a key responsibility.

The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field, along with over five years of experience in professional services, consulting, or solution delivery within the legal or financial systems domain. Proven experience in drafting SOWs, building budgets, and managing sales-to-delivery processes is essential. A strong understanding of finance systems and operations in law firms, excellent communication and presentation skills, and proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM tools are also required. Preferred qualifications include experience in marketing collaboration and thought leadership initiatives, familiarity with pricing strategies and process optimization, and advanced knowledge of legal industry trends and finance technology solutions.
