Financial Controller

Envoy Global is seeking a Financial Controller to lead accounting operations for its SSW entities across the UK, Hong Kong, India, and Germany. This role is pivotal in managing the financial integrity of the organization as it continues to expand its global footprint. The position is based in London, United Kingdom, and offers a hybrid work environment with occasional onsite requirements.

The Financial Controller will oversee end-to-end accounting, reporting, and compliance activities for the SSW entities, with primary responsibility for the UK entity. Key duties include leading a UK-based accounting team, managing monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting, coordinating with external accounting firms for international entities, and partnering with U.S.-based Corporate Accounting and FP&A teams. Additionally, the role involves leading statutory audits, tax compliance, supporting the implementation of a new global billing system, and enhancing accounting policies and internal controls.

Candidates must be fully qualified accountants (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent) with proven experience in managing month-end close and statutory financial reporting. A background in public practice (audit) followed by in-house accounting leadership experience is strongly preferred. The role requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills, strong financial systems expertise, and a detail-oriented approach with excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities. The annual salary for this position ranges from £100,000 to £125,000.
