Firmware Engineer (Founding Team)
As a founding member of the firmware engineering team at Applied Intuition, you will play a pivotal role in developing the next generation of automotive software platforms. This position offers the unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge firmware and middleware solutions that extend beyond traditional AUTOSAR frameworks, contributing to the evolution of Software-Defined Vehicles (SDVs).
Your primary responsibilities will include developing and integrating real-time operating system (RTOS) and POSIX software stacks for automotive control units. You will collaborate closely with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and Tier-1 suppliers to customize and implement embedded software solutions, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance. Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting software validation, debugging, and performance optimization on vehicle hardware or simulation platforms.
The ideal candidate will possess over five years of experience in automotive firmware development, preferably with OEMs, Tier-1 suppliers, or leading automotive software providers. Strong expertise in embedded C/C++ programming for real-time automotive applications is essential. Hands-on experience with AUTOSAR Classic, Adaptive AUTOSAR, or similar middleware solutions, as well as familiarity with RTOS such as FreeRTOS and QNX, is highly desirable. Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols like CAN, LIN, and Ethernet will further strengthen your application.
Applied Intuition offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary, equity options, and comprehensive benefits. The base salary for this position ranges from ₹2,165,800 to ₹5,000,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
