Forward Deployed Software Engineer - Physical AI
Applied Intuition is seeking a Forward Deployed Software Engineer to join our team in Washington, D.C. In this role, you will serve as the technical bridge between our innovative vehicle intelligence platforms and our customers' operational environments, focusing primarily on defense and government sectors. This position offers the opportunity to work in small, dynamic teams, owning the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects that leverage our rapidly evolving product suite.
As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include deploying, integrating, and operationalizing Applied Intuition's vehicle intelligence products within military and government settings. You will tackle a broad range of technical challenges, such as software engineering, operating system configuration, system deployment, and hardware integration. Additionally, you will design and implement scalable approaches for customer engagement and project execution, ensuring successful outcomes through collaboration with internal engineering, product, and customer teams.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong engineering background in fields like Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering, with demonstrated proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python. Broad technical experience across software engineering, operating systems, and hardware is essential, along with experience in integrating and deploying complex systems. Exceptional problem-solving skills, the ability to innovate independently in rapidly evolving environments, and excellent communication skills focused on solving customer problems are also required.
Compensation for this full-time position includes a base salary ranging from $145,000 to $190,000 annually, along with equity options and comprehensive benefits.
