Braze is seeking an FP&A Analyst II to join its Finance team in São Paulo, Brazil. This role is pivotal as the company continues to scale its Financial Planning and Analysis function, particularly within the Marketing department. The ideal candidate will be data-driven, analytical, and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment.

The FP&A Analyst II will own the Marketing budget, forecast, and long-range planning processes, including monthly, quarterly, and annual cycles. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Marketing spend forecasts that incorporate pipeline plans, campaign timing, and expected ROI. The analyst will partner with Marketing leadership to model scenarios related to spend changes, growth initiatives, and performance trade-offs, as well as support long-range and annual operating planning by translating revenue targets into Marketing investment needs. Additionally, the role involves acting as the primary FP&A business partner to Marketing leadership, translating financial results into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders, challenging assumptions, and providing independent financial perspectives on Marketing strategies and initiatives.

Candidates should have over three years of experience in a financial reporting function and hold an undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics. The role requires detail orientation, strong organizational skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with Salesforce and an understanding of SaaS accounting and finance are advantageous. The ability to work independently, collaborate with team members, and meet strict deadlines is essential.
