Fraud Program Manager, Square Financial Services
Square Financial Services, Inc. (SFS), a subsidiary of Block, Inc., is seeking a Fraud Program Manager to enhance and manage the Bank's Fraud Risk Management program. This role involves developing a formal fraud oversight framework and collaborating with various teams to ensure effective fraud prevention and compliance.
The Fraud Program Manager will be responsible for building and iterating on the Bank's fraud program, including documentation, metrics, reporting, and communication channels. Key duties include managing updates to the Anti-Fraud Policy, developing risk and performance indicators for senior management reporting, overseeing change management processes for fraud procedures, and leading cross-functional teams to align with fraud program requirements. Additionally, the role involves participating in audits and regulatory examinations, addressing deficiencies, and representing the fraud program in initiatives such as new product launches and system enhancements.
Candidates should have over 8 years of experience in fraud management within banking or financial technology sectors, covering both commercial and consumer products. Experience in building or evolving fraud programs is essential, along with proficient knowledge of federal fraud regulations and the ability to translate legal concepts into practical business requirements. The role requires experience working with data and technology teams to develop fraud detection mechanisms, collaborating with analytics teams to create relevant fraud indicators, and using AI to enhance work processes. Strong communication skills, the ability to develop and implement new policies and procedures, and adaptability to changing priorities are also important.
The position offers a competitive salary, with compensation varying based on location. For example, in Zone A, the salary range is $156,200 to $234,200 USD annually.
